Workplace AI Videos
The resources page lists people and podcasts worth following. This page lists individual videos worth watching.
The videos below are not embedded for your privacy
This site does not use cookies and therefore does not present you with a cookie consent form. Awesome! Unfortunately that means that I cannot embed a YouTube player on this site.
A few years ago, Google created an alternative “no cookie” domain for use when embedding videos on third-party sites (such as this one) with more privacy protections. However, that embed functionality still sets sets a unique identifier and a cookie, which would be a GDPR violation without a cookie consent.
Therefore I just link to these videos, and you can watch them on YouTube directly if you want.

Brian talks about Workplace AI on the Impact of AI:Explored show
This episode is a good overview of how I think about the impact of AI in the workplace, what some of the real issues are, and why most people aren’t thinking big enough when the envision the very-near future. If you prefer audio only, you can access this episode via their podcast page. (The video is not needed, it’s just us talking heads.)
Keynote: The AI train is leaving the station, and I feel like I missed it!
In this keynote, I talked about Artificial Intelligence, specifically, how it’s evolving so fast, and I feel like I’m so far behind that I’ll never catch up! This video was recorded at the Dutch VMUG UserCon 2024 in April 2024. It’s springtime for AI!
TED Talk: What is an AI anyway?
I like this video because it’s a real TED talk which is engaging for non-techies, and it’s only 20 minutes. The speaker is Mustafa Suleyman, who’s currently CEO of Microsoft AI. He was previously the founder of Inflection, and before that, DeepMind. (The people who built Alpha Go.) This was recorded in April 2024 while he was at Inflection.
