Welcome to StrategyGuide.ai. I am committed to protecting your privacy, both to respect GDPR (I’m based in Paris), and because web privacy is important to me personally. This Privacy Policy details what information is collected and how it is processed when you visit this website.

This website does not use tracking cookies or scripts, which is why there is no “cookie consent”. I do not collect, maintain, store, or track any personal data from visitors to this website.

This website is a static site hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub’s privacy policy can be found here. As this site is hosted via GitHub pages, I do not have access to the raw web server logs, and do not collect or process them.

This website is built with the open-source MkDocs static site generator using the Insiders fork of the Material for MkDocs theme. It uses the built-in privacy plugin which allows for self-hosting of external assets (fonts, GitHub avatar images, etc.), keeping all assets on this site and ensuring that your visits to this site do not send information to third party websites.

This website uses Plausible Analytics for privacy-friendly web analytics. I use these analytics to understand aggregated usage patterns about the site (which pages are popular, etc.). Plausible Analytics does not use cookies and does not track personal data. It is a simple, lightweight, privacy-friendly alternative to Google Analytics. The site search functionality is javascript-based, served from this site, and runs in your browser. Plausible Analytics collects the search terms used via the search functionality of this site, which I use to understand what people are interested in and searching for, as it helps me identify if people have questions that are not covered on the site.

This website’s RSS feeds (AI Guide , Blog ) are served directly from this site, with links to and content from this site. No third-party republishers or click trackers are used.

This website does not serve or contain ads. Site functionality and appearance is identical with or without an ad blocker.

This website does not embed any content which would set a cookie or otherwise compromise your privacy with a third party simply by engaging with this site. (For example, YouTube videos are linked to YouTube, rather than embedded.)

The embedded podcast player uses the standard HTML5 audio tag and accesses the MP3 file directly from the podcast host. No cookies are involved. Only the MP3 file’s metadata is accessed on page load (to get the duration). The actual MP3 file is not downloaded until you play it. The podcast feed and audio files are hosted via Alitu, whose privacy policy is here.
