This page is part of The Workplace AI Strategy Guide
This page is part of a step-by-step guide to Workplace AI strategy, which I'm currently in the process of writing. I'm creating it like an interactive online book. The full table of contents is on the left (or use the menu if you're on a mobile device).
What's this guide all about? Check out the intro or full table of contents.

This page is part of my step-by-step guide to Workplace AI, which I'm in the process of writing. I'm doing it in the open, which allows people to see it and provide feedback early. However many of the pages are just initial brain dumps, bullets, random notes, and/or incomplete.
There's an overview of what I'm trying to accomplish on the "What is this site about?" page.

Do you allow it? Do you ban it? Do you monitor it? Do you have a policy? Do you care?
- Web interface, iOS app, desktop app (first and third party)
- Paid, free, and enterprise versions
- People think the consumer paid version is “safer” or protects privacy better. This is false.
- Enterprise versions do allow more privacy protections.
- Current model (GPT-4o) handles text, images, and audio in the same model. (Audio feature is currently disabled for the public)
- Most people think of the text chat interface
- GPT-4o lets users paste in images, screenshots, photos, PDFs, and other attachments for analysis
- Can generate images and text
- Training is secret. Data set is secret. System prompt is secret. Company direction is secret. Safety standards are secret.

- US National Archives Bans Employee Use of ChatGPT 1 May 2024. The reason? They don’t want secret data from employee prompts to leak into the model. Are they blocking other models? Are they blocking all AI? How will they prevent employees from using it on their own devices?
