Events & Speeches

Brian Madden photo

I enjoy public speaking and try to speak at as many events as I can. (I’ve given over 1,000 speeches and talks around the world over the past 30 years, and even created my own tech conference back in the day.)

I’m currently giving talks on workplace AI, the future of work, and how individuals can prepare and learn about AI. Check out my profile on Sessionize for details of my current talks.

Hire me to speak at your event

I’m happy to deliver a talk at your next event, whether it’s a keynote, breakout session, or emcee. (Actually, I’ve been a game show host in the past and would happily do that again too!) I do both in-person and virtual talks, anywhere in the world. (I’m based in Paris, so in-person European events are especially easy for me.) I’m happy to deliver one of my existing talks, or to work with you to develop something new. Reach out and let’s talk about your event!

This site does not use cookies and therefore does not present you with a cookie consent form. Awesome! Unfortunately that means that I cannot embed a YouTube player on this site.

A few years ago, Google created an alternative “no cookie” domain for use when embedding videos on third-party sites (such as this one) with more privacy protections. However, that embed functionality still sets sets a unique identifier and a cookie, which would be a GDPR violation without a cookie consent.

Therefore I just link to these videos, and you can watch them on YouTube directly if you want.

This particular interview with Brian Madden blew my mind. It is remarkable just how much we have to change our outlook regarding today’s computing. As Brian mentions during the interview, we knew a lot of the right answers before. This time taught us something remarkable about implementation. Brian exposed one of the biggest learnings that the situation brought to bear: Which takes priority, security or productivity? In short, this webinar proved to be one of the most insightful discussions for me personally. I suggest that all leaders (IT and otherwise) make the best of this recording.
